Not to much into music , I know that's weird but when I was younger I had to work around music all day and just like the peace and quite now. but when I do listen to music I like alternative rock

OK yes I read all the mysteries such as Patterson, Sanford (the Prey novels) Tess Gerritsen-Nora Roberts-Heather Graham-Kathy Reichs.

action movies, Horror movies, mysterys, some drams . I do not like movies that make me cry, I just think there is enough in the world to make you cry so I do not need that in my entertainment .I do love the spooky so if its a ghost story I most likely have it on DVD.Im a big fan of Asian horror movies like The Ring .

buffy the vampire slayer , angel, x files, NCIS, bones , ghost hunters, haunted history anything spooky or paranormal- I use to watch supernatural until they went off the deep end

I went to the beach early on Christmas Eve
There was a party going on that you wouldn't believe
The spirits were flowing and the music was loud
All of the Beach Boys were mingling in the crowd
Elvis was singing that "Blue Christmas" song
When people pointed to a fat man in a red thong

He had a long white beard, it got quite the rave
As that jolly old fella’ stood up on a wave
Santa as a surfer? Man, that dude had a beat
Must have been a magic surfboard under his feet
He rode along the crest and then shot through the tube
Moving lightning fast - man that board was lubed

With the wink of an eye and a pipe in his mouth
He hollered "Merry Christmas", then turned the board south
Off to Hawaii where the waves are quite big
Santa decided, surfing was gonna be his new gig
So when you wake up on Christmas with no toys to play
That's because Santa's too busy - Surfing USA.

Hope you have a wonderful, blessed Thanksgiving! I very rarely see you on here (but then I've not been around a whole lot, as we're gone every morning over to the Center) but wanted to stop by and say Happy Thanksgiving....we're getting ready to leave to go to one of the churches for a big meal after awhile.....then, to put up the outdoor Christmas decorations, while it's so lovely out (65 degrees here today!).

Lori,
Thank you for responding. I still can't comment and so giving up for today. I may have just read the announcement I saw last night about Gather being shut down from 11 to midnight. I thought it said tonight but as I recall now, it may have been that I just read it late.
Just guess I will see what the morning brings.
